Finance Manager

The Finance Manager – General Accounting is responsible for overseeing the organization's general accounting operations and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This role leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; manages the integrity of the general ledger; reviews journal entries and account reconciliations; and ensures financial statements are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards such as GAAP or IFRS. The Finance Manager supports internal and external audits, maintains strong internal controls, and ensures compliance with regulatory and corporate policies. In addition, the role supervises and develops accounting staff, allocates workload, reviews performance, and fosters a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement. The position also partners cross-functionally with FP&A, tax, and operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent preferred), has significant progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibility, demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and possesses advanced proficiency in financial systems and Excel.

The ideal candidate is a finance professional with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and an MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus. They bring at least 5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or related roles—preferably within the logistics industry—and possess strong financial modeling, Excel, and financial software skills (e.g., SAP, Oracle). They are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organized, with exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities, and have a proven track record of collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
