Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Corporate Reporting and Analysis Team and oversee month-end financial closing, report generation, and financial analysis.
  • Review, enhance, and develop bank-wide financial reports, including Balance Sheet and Income Statement (RAP/PFRS).
  • Analyze financial reports for Management, Board of Directors, SEC, external auditors, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and develop ad hoc financial reports for Management and Segment/Group Heads.
  • Oversee expense controllership, including OPEX and accrual analysis, variance validation, and identification of policy deviations.
  • Review incentive amortization computations using the Effective Interest rate (EIR) method.
  • Review and approve Management Certificates (MC) and payment requests within authorized limits.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and prepare required audit schedules.
  • Provide guidance to various Bank units on proper financial reporting and accounting practices.
  • Lead and develop team members through resource allocation, training, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure Finance activities are compliant with Bank policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, and remain audit-ready.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • More than five (5) years relevant experience from the financial industry, preferably in banking
  • Strong skills in financial reporting, accounting operations, financial reconciliation, data analysis, variance analysis, and problem solving
  • Experience in people management and team leadership
