Job Description

Job Purpose

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of CloudEats, with primary accountability for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

This role ensures accurate transaction processing, strong documentation discipline, timely reconciliations, and effective coordination with the General Ledger functions of Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Treasury.

The Finance Manager will also serve as a key partner to the Head of Finance in leading the team, improving performance, enhancing systems, and driving a culture of accountability and excellence.

Main Duties

Finance Operations

  • Oversee daily finance operations across AP and AR.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, billings, collections, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Tech, and FP&A for issue resolution and process alignment.
  • Serve as Finance's representative for operational concerns (store issues, supplier escalations, POS/Netsuite sync issues).
  • Lead and mentor a team of officers and specialists; implement performance standards and development plans.
  • Act as an escalation point for operational finance issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end close readiness.
  • Improve team structure, workload balance, and process ownership.

Accounts Payable Management

  • Oversee vendor creation, invoice review, 3-way matching, payment runs, and vendor communications.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate terms when needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation, approvals, accruals, and compliance with company policies.
  • Strengthen AP processes to support expansion and higher transaction volume.

Accounts Receivable & Revenue Assurance

  • Ensure daily validation of store sales, POS uploads (Alfred NetSuite), and deposits.
  • Oversee collection follow-ups, dispute resolution, and accurate aging reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of sales, cash deposits, and third-party delivery partners.

Internal Controls

  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure financial integrity. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Audit Compliance

  • Coordinate and manage annual financial audits and work with external auditors. Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and filings.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and accountability.

Other duties and tasks, as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred.
  • 58 years in finance operations, with at least 23 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
  • Proven experience in NetSuite (or similar ERP) and POS integrations.
  • Strong background in high-volume AP/AR and revenue reconciliation.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query).
  • Experience in F&B, Retail, or E-commerce startups is a major plus.
  • High level of accountability, experience in process automation, and ability to handle startup-speed problem-solving.

Work Setup:

  • 5-day onsite in The Brilliance Center, BGC. (Monday-Friday)
  • Twice a month, work from home
