Work Schedule: Night Shift (20:00 PM – 05:00 AM Manila Time)
Position Summary
The Finance Manager / AP Lead for US Shared Services serves as a key operational and strategic leader within our client's Global Finance Shared Services organization. Reporting directly to senior shared services leadership, this role oversees end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations—including AP Invoice Processing & Resolution, AP Payments, AP Intercompany, and Vendor Governance across supported global operating units.
The ideal candidate will lead multiple operational teams through direct supervisors, partnering closely with US controllers, procurement, supply chain, and executive business stakeholders to optimize working capital, champion process automation, and maintain robust internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership & Governance: Provide strategic direction for AP invoice processing, disbursements, intercompany settlements, and GRNI management. Establish operational targets, maintain SLAs, and lead high-performing supervisory and functional teams.
- Stakeholder & US Business Partnership: Act as the primary escalation point and business partner for US Controllership teams, plant controllers, procurement leadership, and global vendor partners.
- Process Transformation & Automation: Drive continuous improvement roadmaps across P2P workflows. Lead initiatives to eliminate invoice holds, optimize first-pass match rates, and leverage ERP/automation capabilities (Oracle, SAP, Esker, or similar tools).
- Compliance & Financial Controls: Ensure full compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, corporate accounting policies, and internal audit standards across all managed entities.
- Reporting & Analytics: Develop and present executive-level operational dashboards, KPI tracking, capacity planning models, and monthly close support analytics.
Candidate Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, P2P operations, or General Accounting within a multinational Shared Services / BPO environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing supervisors, team leads, or cross-functional teams.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls, and end-to-end P2P lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with major enterprise ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and modern financial technologies (Hyperion, OneStream, Power BI, or workflow automation tools).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication skills, and the capability to navigate complex global matrix organizations.
