Role Description The Finance Lead – Compliance and Financial Reporting is a full-time, on-site role based in Mandaluyong. This role oversees the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Finance Lead manages compliance activities, including monitoring adherence to financial policies, coordinating audits, and maintaining proper documentation and internal controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading budgeting and forecasting efforts, reconciling accounts, tracking grants and donations, and providing financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions. The role also involves collaborating with program leads and leadership to develop financial policies, optimize resource allocation, and promote transparency and accountability across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, including experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
- Experience with compliance and regulatory reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or similar).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a mission-driven environment.
- Familiarity with non-profit or community-based organization finance, including grants and donor reporting, is a plus.
