Role Description The Finance Functional Consultant is a full-time hybrid role based in the Philippines, combining on-site work with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing finance and accounting business requirements, designing functional solutions, and configuring finance modules within enterprise applications. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to support implementations, enhancements, and integrations, ensuring that financial processes align with best practices and regulatory standards. Daily activities include preparing functional documentation, supporting testing and user training, troubleshooting finance-related issues, and contributing to continuous process improvement. The role also involves advising stakeholders on system capabilities, optimizing financial workflows, and supporting ongoing application maintenance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in finance and accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Experience configuring and supporting finance modules in enterprise applications (e.g., ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documenting functional specifications.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams on solution design, integrations, data migration, and system testing.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, supporting user acceptance testing, and providing end-user training.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on process optimization.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, accessible manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ERP functional certification) are an advantage.
- Experience working in consulting or in a similar client-facing functional role is preferred.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid setup based in the Philippines, with flexibility to collaborate across global time zones.
