Finance Executive (Supervisor)
We are seeking a Finance Executive (Supervisor) to oversee the daily finance and accounting operations of our property. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and supervising finance team members to ensure efficient and compliant financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cashiering, and Income Audit.
- Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end closing reports.
- Monitor hotel revenue transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial data.
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and expense management.
- Supervise, coach, and develop finance team members.
- Collaborate with department heads on budget management and cost control initiatives.
- Support the Finance Manager/Financial Controller in achieving the property's financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation is an advantage.
- At least 4-6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and meet deadlines.
