Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Finance Excellence Manager is responsible for leading finance transformation, process improvement, governance, automation, systems optimization, and reporting enhancement across the Finance Group. The role ensures scalable finance processes, strong internal controls, efficient systems, and continuous improvement initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence.

The position works closely with Finance, IT, Operations, and business leaders to strengthen finance capabilities, improve reporting accuracy, and drive automation and governance initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead finance transformation and process improvement projects across the organization.
  • Manage SAP optimization, workflow automation, and finance system enhancement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and automated financial reporting tools.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial and operational data across reporting systems.
  • Develop, standardize, and maintain finance policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.
  • Strengthen governance and compliance processes across finance operations.
  • Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Internal Audit and external auditors to address control and compliance requirements.
  • Lead finance training, onboarding, and capability development programs.
  • Monitor project milestones, implementation progress, and transformation deliverables.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive finance experience with exposure to finance transformation, process excellence, or finance operations leadership.
  • Experience handling ERP systems such as SAP Business One or similar platforms.
  • Strong background in Power BI, reporting automation, and process optimization.
  • Experience in retail, F&B, hospitality, or multi-site operations is an advantage.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
