Position Overview
The Finance Director in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environment is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal health, and driving strategic financial planning. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of the unique financial dynamics of the BPO sector, including client billing, cost management, and regulatory compliance across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance function, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and BPO industry best practices.
- Oversee client billing processes, revenue recognition, and cost allocation to ensure profitability and accuracy.
- Manage financial risks and ensure robust internal controls are in place.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international financial regulations relevant to BPO operations.
- Partner with senior leadership to support business growth, including mergers, acquisitions, and expansion into new markets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Prepare and present financial reports to executive management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to leverage financial technology for process automation and efficiency.
- Oversee vendor contracts, client agreements, and financial aspects of service-level agreements (SLAs).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a BPO or outsourcing environment.
- Strong understanding of BPO business models, client billing structures, and global financial regulations.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Reporting Structure
