Finance Director
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 AM EST, with a 30-minute break
Salary: $5,000 per month
Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Finance Director to lead the financial operations of a high-growth, multi-entity investment and asset management firm. This executive will serve as a key member of the leadership team, responsible for driving financial strategy, managing treasury and cash operations, ensuring compliance, and enabling data-informed decision-making at the highest level.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in treasury management, financial planning and analysis, multi-entity and fund accounting, and real estate or private equity environments. Proficiency in Sage Intacct is a plus. You will be hands-on and detail-oriented while also contributing to long-term planning and financial leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all financial functions, with a strong focus on treasury, cash management, and liquidity planning
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership and stakeholders
- Direct financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting across multiple entities and investment vehicles
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls
- Partner closely with executive leadership on long-term financial strategy, fundraising, and capital planning
- Oversee and continuously improve systems, processes, and automation to increase financial efficiency and insight
- Coordinate with external auditors, legal, and tax professionals to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance and detail-oriented culture
- Support due diligence, investor reporting, and fund performance analysis
- Optimize the use of financial systems (Sage Intacct preferred) and tools to streamline reporting and decision-making
Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent financial certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in progressively senior finance roles, with at least 3 years in a CFO or VP of Finance capacity
- Strong expertise in treasury management, cash operations, and liquidity planning
- Experience in fund or real estate accounting, private equity, asset management, or lending environments
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Hands-on treasury experience, including initiating, reviewing, and approving wires, as well as managing AP and AR payments
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Proven track record in financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with competing priorities
- Real estate or lending industry experience (not required but heavily preferred)
