Aufgabengebiet
- Lead External Reporting & Governance: Oversee end-to-end financial and regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with statutory, governance, and country-specific requirements, including accurate and timely submission of financial statements and filings.
- Strengthen Compliance & Controls: Establish robust review processes, maintain accountability for accounting balances and reconciliations, build a strong internal control environment, and monitor regulatory changes to ensure full compliance.
- Drive Operational Excellence & Improvement: Enhance reporting processes through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement; ensure documentation is up to date, manage systems (e.g., Diligent Entities), and support integration or migration initiatives.
- Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and GSC teams to meet strategic goals, coordinate data, manage audits and escalations, control costs, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
- Manage Stakeholders, Risks & Team Performance: Build relationships with auditors and in-country resources, address operational risks and escalations, oversee transfer pricing and capital structure reviews, and lead, develop, and evaluate team performance.
Anforderungsprofil
A Successful Finance Director Should Have
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA qualification is a must.
- Big 4 audit experience is needed.
- Experience in financial reporting and statutory compliance within the business services industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international financial regulations, particularly IFRS.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and systems, track record in automation will be an advantage.
