We are currently supporting multiple manufacturing clients in the Laguna Area who are currently hiring for their Head of Finance/Finance Controller
Position Summary
The Head of Manufacturing Finance will lead the financial strategy, operational accounting, plant controlling, and cost management across all manufacturing facilities and supply chain operations. This role acts as a critical strategic business partner to the Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement leadership teams, ensuring cost efficiency, strong internal controls, and optimized profitability across the production footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant Controlling & Cost Accounting: Oversee standard costing, variance analysis (yield, usage, labor, overhead), inventory accounting, and COGS optimization across all manufacturing units.
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead operational budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning for factory operations, capital expenditure (CapEx), and supply chain networks.
- CapEx & Asset Management: Drive financial evaluation and ROI analysis for new plant investments, automation initiatives, continuous improvement projects, and line expansions.
- Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), plant internal controls, stock audits, waste tracking, and regulatory requirements.
- Performance Management: Develop and track key operational KPIs (e.g., OEE financial impact, scrap rates, conversion costs, inventory turn) to drive continuous cost improvement.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build high-performing plant finance and cost accounting teams across multiple manufacturing sites.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional certification CPA preferred.
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience within the high-volume consumer goods manufacturing sector, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership/plant controlling role.
- Deep knowledge of standard costing, factory accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP CO/MM, Oracle).
- Proven track record of managing multi-site plant finance teams and partnering directly with Heads of Supply Chain and Operations.
