The team provides expertise in plan design, valuation, performance tracking, communication, tax, and financial accounting services related to stock-based compensation, offering clients comprehensive and specialized support.

Position Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, accounting, tax, payroll, statutory compliance, invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash management for our growing Philippine entity.  

This role ensures compliance with Philippine regulations, maintains accurate financial records, and coordinates with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies. The ideal candidate has experience supporting multinational organizations, managing local compliance requirements, and thriving in a fast-paced growth environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Financial Accounting & Reporting 

  • Manage day-to-day general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and month-end close. 
  • Prepare PFRS-compliant financial statements and monthly management reports. 
  • Reconcile bank, intercompany, and balance sheet accounts. 
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis 

Tax & Regulatory Compliance 

  • Handle BIR filings, VAT, withholding, and corporate taxes. 
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors. 
  • Monitor local regulatory changes affecting the business. 
  • Ensure timely submissions to BIR, SEC, LGUs, and statutory agencies 

Corporate Compliance & Governance 

  • Manage registrations, permits, renewals, and annual corporate filings. 
  • Maintain compliance calendars and internal audit documentation. 
  • Act as primary liaison for government and legal entities. 
  • Establish internal controls and process documentation. 
  • Billing, Accounts Receivable & Cash Management 
  • Oversee timely client invoicing and billing operations. 
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and collection cycles. 
  • Manage local banking, treasury, and cash flow optimization. 
  • Document intercompany transactions and local entity funding. 

Audit & External Coordination 

  • Lead annual financial statement audits and compliance reviews.  
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.  
  • Coordinate with external accountants and advisors to ensure audit readiness throughout the year.  
  • Respond to requests from regulators, auditors, and tax authorities.  

Process Improvement 

  • Lead annual financial statement audits and compliance reviews. 
  • Prepare supporting audit schedules and maintain year-round readiness. 
  • Resolve inquiries from regulators, auditors, and tax authorities. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.  
  • CPA preferred.  
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.  
  • Experience managing Philippine tax, accounting, payroll, and corporate compliance requirements.  
  • Experience supporting multinational organizations or foreign-owned Philippine entities preferred.  
  • Strong understanding of:  
  • Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)  
  • BIR regulations  
  • Corporate governance and statutory compliance  
  • Payroll and statutory benefits administration  
  • Experience working with external auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies.  
  • Advanced Excel and accounting system experience.  
  • Strong communication skills in English.
