Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and present insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and risk management activities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and insights.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff to enhance team performance and skill development.
- Support external audits and manage relationships with auditors and financial institutions.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA required.
- At least 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.
- Proven ability to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Amenable to working onsite in Davao City.
