Job Title: Finance Business Partner Manager

What You'll Do:
We are looking for a commercially driven and strategic Finance Business Partner Manager to support and influence business performance across multi-channel commercial operations. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong financial expertise with deep commercial understanding, particularly within FMCG or consumer goods environments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in translating financial data into actionable business insights, driving profitability, improving commercial decision-making, and supporting sustainable business growth.
As a key finance partner to Sales and Commercial leadership teams, this position will work
closely with General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), distributors, key accounts, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance, investment effectiveness, and business performance optimization. The role requires someone who is strategic, hands-on, highly analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
● Act as a strategic finance partner to Commercial and Sales leadership teams in
driving business growth and profitability
● Provide financial insights and recommendations to support commercial strategies,
expansion plans, and business prioritization
● Translate financial and operational data into meaningful business insights and
actionable recommendations
● Challenge business assumptions and support balanced decision-making between
growth ambitions and financial sustainability
● Support leadership teams with data-driven analysis to improve commercial
effectiveness and operational efficiency
Commercial Performance & Profitability Management
● Lead profitability analysis across channels, customers, distributors, products,
territories, and accounts
● Monitor key commercial drivers including sales growth, pricing, margins, trade
spend, and promotional effectiveness
● Identify profitability leakage, commercial risks, and optimization opportunities
across GT, MT, and other commercial channels
● Evaluate financial impact of pricing initiatives, trade promotions, listing investments,
distributor schemes, and route-to-market strategies
● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance profitability and channel
performance
Trade Investment & Commercial Governance
• Manage financial governance and effectiveness evaluation for trade spend, distributor
incentives, and commercial investments
• Ensure commercial investment allocation aligns with business priorities and expected
returns
• Partner closely with Sales teams to optimize spending efficiency while maintaining market
competitiveness
• Strengthen financial controls, transparency, and accountability across commercial
activities and field execution
• Monitor and improve ROI on promotional and trade marketing investments
Financial Planning & Decision Support
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and commercial planning processes across business channels
• Develop financial models, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis to support strategic
decisions
• Provide proactive financial insights based on market trends, channel dynamics, and
business performance
• Support long-term business planning and profitability improvement initiatives
• Deliver accurate and timely management reporting to support business decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and other business
functions to drive alignment and business performance
• Influence stakeholders through strong communication, commercial acumen, and
data-driven recommendations
• Lead and develop finance team members with a strong business partnering mindset
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the
finance organization
Process Improvement & Transformation
• Drive finance process improvements, reporting enhancements, and transformation
initiatives
• Improve visibility, accuracy, and quality of commercial financial reporting and analytics
• Support development of scalable financial frameworks and tools to support business
growth
• Simplify reporting processes and strengthen financial decision-making capabilities across
the organization
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Finance Business Partnering,
FP&A, or Revenue Growth Management, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods
industry
• Strong exposure to multi-channel commercial finance including General Trade (GT),
Modern Trade (MT), and key account business partnering
• Proven experience partnering directly with Commercial or Sales leadership teams
• Strong understanding of FMCG commercial dynamics, distributor management, trade
investment, modern trade negotiation structures, and route-to-market strategies
• Strong analytical thinking, financial modeling, and business acumen
• Proven ability to influence business decisions through financial analysis and strategic
recommendations
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced and high-growth environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis tools, and business reporting
systems
• Amenable to work onsite in BGC, Taguig City
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in high-growth FMCG, beauty, retail, or consumer goods companies
• Familiarity with commercial planning, pricing strategy, and revenue growth management
• Experience working with distributor-based business models and large-scale channel
operations
• Exposure to finance transformation or business process improvement initiatives
