The Finance Business Partner (Officer) is responsible for delivering financial analysis and commercial insights that support the commissary's operational and strategic objectives. This role partners closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams to drive sound financial planning, monitor business performance, and identify opportunities to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead annual budgeting exercises and periodic financial forecasts to support business targets.
- Evaluate operational and product profitability through cost analysis and performance reviews.
- Identify financial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and initiatives that improve margin performance.
- Build financial models and business cases to assess capital investments, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Generate regular management reports and provide actionable recommendations based on financial results.
- Conduct variance analysis and monitor key financial indicators to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial plans align with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data used for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, Accounting Technology, or a related business discipline. CPA or other finance-related certifications are an advantage.
- At least three (3) years of experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably within a manufacturing, food production, or supply chain environment.
- Proven background in budget management, forecasting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Hands-on experience in profitability analysis, financial reporting, and business performance evaluation.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, management accounting, financial analysis, and supply chain finance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to work on-site in Danao City, Cebu.
