We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Finance Controller to support our Integrated Logistics operations. This role is responsible for financial controlling, inventory accounting, vendor management, and cost optimization across warehouse and logistics functions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in manufacturing finance, inventory management, and SAP FI/CO, with the ability to partner closely with operations to drive efficiency, controls, and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Perform month-end closing for warehouse, supply chain, and logistics-related accounts, ensuring accurate analysis versus forecast, plan, and prior year
Support budget planning and forecasting for warehouse and logistics costs
Prepare balance sheet account reviews, particularly for inventories and logistics-related accruals
Lead and oversee inventory count activities, including reconciliation and variance resolution
Manage vendor billings and statements of account reconciliation for third-party logistics and service providers
Drive cost reduction initiatives, process improvements, and operational synergies within logistics and supply chain
Monitor operational and financial metrics, identify gaps, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Ensure strong financial controls through validation of operating expenses, inventory adjustments, chargebacks, and scrap transactions
Identify and manage financial and operational risks, coordinating resolution with Finance leadership
Standardize and simplify logistics finance processes and reporting, including forward-looking analysis and insights
Prepare and maintain finance-related policies and procedures in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
Ensure compliance with audit, tax, and legal entity reporting requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
Strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis
Extensive experience in finance and accounting within a manufacturing environment
Prior exposure to warehouse and logistics operations is required
Proficient in SAP FI/CO and management accounting systems
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Ability to balance financial rigor with operational and business impact
