Job Description

About the Role

SN Aboitiz Power Group is seeking a Finance Business Partner Analyst to support the Finance Business Partner (FBP) function within the Office of the Chief Operations Officer (OCOO). Reporting to the Sr. Manager – Finance Business Partner, you will provide critical analytical and coordination support across operational finance, budgeting, cost analysis, business process improvement, and Project Management Office (PMO) initiatives to enable sound operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Finance Support: Assist in annual, mid-year, and ad-hoc budget consolidation for the OCOO group; perform cost variance analysis; evaluate CAPEX/OPEX business cases; and support studies on spare parts optimization, asset aging, and inventory.
  • Business Process Improvement: Create process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to identify bottlenecks and support operational efficiency projects.
  • Lean Six Sigma Program Support: Apply LSS tools and DMAIC methodologies to FBP initiatives, track key process efficiency/quality KPIs, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • PMO Support: Monitor project timelines, budgets, and portfolio KPIs; maintain standardized PMO tools/templates; and assist project leads across organizational initiatives.

Role Qualifications

Experience & Background:

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or related finance functions.
  • Exposure to business process improvement, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, or project management principles is an advantage.
  • Prior background or exposure to the power/energy industry is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Progress toward CPA or Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow/Green Belt) is an advantage.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and process mapping skills.
  • Working knowledge of budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace, process modeling, and dashboard tools (e.g., Kissflow, emerging AI tools).
  • Excellent detail orientation, clear written and verbal communication, and collaborative interpersonal skills.
