About The Team & Business Line
The Citco Group's Business Intelligence team spearheads the development and management of cutting-edge BI reporting solutions for our Finance and HR Divisions. As a key member of our Product Support team, you'll work alongside dedicated professionals to ensure clients have uninterrupted access to critical information assets.
Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst with 3+ years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) solutions such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI.
If the candidate does not already have direct hands-on experience with these tools, they must demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn them quickly. This role also requires independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle incoming BI support requests with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
- Build and optimize reports, dashboards, and visualizations in SSRS and Power BI.
- Develop and manage data models in SSAS.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts. Gather requirements from stakeholders and deliver BI solutions.
- Handle incoming BI support requests, troubleshooting, and resolve issues.
- Research and implement new BI tools and best practices.
- Support or develop Oracle Fusion Reports (OTBI, BIP) using PL/SQL where required.
- Work independently with minimal supervision .
About You
Essential skills:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar role.
- 3 years of SQL experience with advanced query development.
- Proficiency in at least one MSBI tool such as Power BI and a strong aptitude for learning BI technologies quickly.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and modeling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Reporting (OTBI, BIP) and a willingness to learn.
- Experience with Power BI Service and Microsoft Fabric components.
- Knowledge of DAX and MDX.
- Agile/Scrum methodology exposure.
