Role Description

This is a full-time remote Finance Associate role. The Finance Associate will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, overseeing financial reporting, and providing financial insights to support strategic decisions. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with financial regulations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to communicate financial findings.

Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTING

  • Working on bookkeeping and daily accounting as per global practices
  • Working on cash flow and P&L
  • Monitor accounting and payables function very closely and work on all queries related to AP function.
  • Responsible for invoice verification and payouts to all vendors & partners

FINANCE

  • Responsible for all financial reconciliations
  • Financial dispute handling with vendors and other stakeholders
  • Provide data for and assist in internal audits
  • Responsible for credit collection of returned inventory & credit notes management.
  • Undertaking research as required by the concerned manager.
  • Review of data provided by the finance team and arranging the same as per the requirement
  • Assisting the team as required

QUALITIES REQUIRED

  • Semi Qualified CA/CMA/ICWA or MBA Finance with a minimum of 2+ years or Bcom/Mcom with a minimum of 3+ years of experience
  • Minimum experience of 2+ years in accounting, taxation, and reporting
  • Experience in Oracle NetSuite accounting ERP
  • Experience in Excel, word and Google Workspace tools
  • Proficiency in English, strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to develop good relationships
  • Exceptional time-management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently under strict deadlines
  • Have the right mix of presentation and analytical skills to process unstructured data/problems and convert them to simple and meaningful insights to reach conclusions
  • Startup experience is a big plus
  • Have all that it takes to succeed in a startup environment - flexibility, working beyond the call of duty, ability to multitask and deliver under pressure, and a high level of ownership and excellent cross functional working experience
