Job Summary
The Finance Associate is responsible for supporting multiple ventures by ensuring accurate
financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in compliance and reporting. This role is essential in maintaining smooth financial operations, ensuring timely payments, and supporting the overall financial health of various business units.
Job Responsibilities
- Process and record vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payments across
- different ventures.
- Perform weekly vendor payment processing and ensure clearing of items in Xero.
- Monitor accounts across ventures to ensure all payments are current and updated.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing audit checks, balance sheets, and accounts.
- Process bi-monthly and monthly salary disbursements accurately for multiple
- ventures.
- Reconcile financial transactions to ensure consistency and accuracy across all
- supported ventures.
- Assist in collecting and organizing receipts and transaction documents for record-
- keeping.
- Provide support in handling government-related financial requirements, such as
- BIR/EFPS filing, ensuring compliance across ventures.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for
- different business units.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, scanning, copying, typing, and document
binding as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are
- encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in using accounting tools like Xero is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced, start-up work environment.
