Finance Associate (Open to Fresh Grads)

Reporting to: Finance Manager

Work Schedule: 5-day work week (on site)

The Finance Associate is responsible for supporting the department's daily financial operations, which may include processing payment requests, assisting in the collection of outstanding accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Other responsibilities include:

• Transaction Processing: Receive, validate, and process financial transactions (such as payment requests or customer collections) ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Record Maintenance: Accurately record financial data, make necessary adjustments for discrepancies, and maintain updated documentation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide high-quality customer service by addressing inquiries from internal requesters or external customers regarding payment status, account balances, or disputes.
• Compliance & Support: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, assist with tax documentation, and perform administrative tasks related to finance and accounting as needed.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and identify process improvements.
• May be assigned to different teams under the Finance Department based on operational requirements.

To succeed in this role you will be required to meet the following:

• Bachelor of Science in Financial Management, Accountancy or any finance related courses.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; relevant internship experience in a finance or accounting environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and/or google sheet for sorting and organizing data.
• Communication and interpersonal skills to respond effectively to inquiries and deliver information to stakeholders.
• Analytical skills and attention to details in processing data to identify any inconsistencies.
• Flexibility and agility to take on additional tasks as required.
