Job Summary
We are looking for a Xero-savvy individual to support the full setup of an accounting and inventory workflow for a small import/resell company in the Philippines. The company has approximately 300 SKUs and processes around 100 orders per month with an average of 50 lines per order.
The project requires a detail-oriented person who can assist in configuring inventory, pricing, and system mappings while coordinating with our local team.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and configuration of Xero for inventory tracking
- Prepare and organize 300+ SKU data, including descriptions, pricing, and inventory details
- Upload and validate bulk inventory templates
- Support setup of:
- Chart of Accounts
- Item codes and tracking categories
- COGS mapping
- Price lists
- Coordinate with the project lead and local team to ensure accurate migration and implementation
- Test sample transactions (purchase orders, sales invoices, stock movements)
- Identify inconsistencies or errors in inventory data and help resolve them
- Provide basic guidance to the internal team on using the new setup
Qualifications
- Experience using Xero (even 6 months1 year experience can be considered)
- Familiarity with inventory processes (import, resell, SKU management)
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Comfortable working onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa
- Can work collaboratively with a small team
- Fast learner who can work efficiently within a 1-month timeline
- Experience in setting up Xero inventory for a company
- Knowledge of landed cost, freight allocation, and COGS
- Background in e-commerce, retail, or trading businesses
