Finance and Internal Control Officer

- From Second Month: 3 Days On-site / 2 Days Remote per week

About the Role
We are hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Internal Control Officer to oversee financial operations across our multi-brand organization. This role is responsible for managing revenue consolidation, expense tracking, client billing, and monthly financial reporting, while coordinating with external accounting and HR partners to ensure audit readiness and BIR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Management and Reporting
- Consolidate revenue data from service, retail, and digital brands
- Maintain and update the Master Accounts Receivable file
- Conduct cash flow tracking and bank reconciliations
- Reconcile accounts with customers and vendors, resolve discrepancies, and manage queries
- Prepare financial statements, profit and loss reports, and monthly audit schedules
- Compile BIR filing documentation for coordination with the external accounting firm
Expense Management and Recording
- Record and categorize operational expenses, reimbursements, and liquidations
- Maintain and update accounts payable logs
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with BIR and audit standards
- Provide monthly expense summaries for internal reporting and analysis
Client Billing and Invoicing
- Manage client billing across service-based and B2B transactions
- Generate and track service and sales invoices
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite is a strong advantage
Month-End and Financial Finalization
- Conduct monthly account closing activities
- Analyze accounts, prepare adjusting entries, and finalize internal reports
- Participate in Month Opening and Finance Review meetings to present updated financials
Internal Coordination and Support
- Work closely with external accounting and HR agencies for tax and payroll compliance
- Coordinate with the Administrative Officer for reimbursements and vendor payments
- Respond to internal finance inquiries and ensure proper file organization and compliance
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field
- 3 to 4 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or internal audit
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, payables, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with Philippine tax laws and BIR filing processes
- High proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle NetSuite or QuickBooks is preferred
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ethical, professional, and discreet in handling sensitive financial data
Compensation
Salary Range:23,000 30,000/month, based on experience and capability
Includes a 3-month performance review with potential salary adjustment
