ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the CEO, this position will work as a financial and business analyst across high-growth global business. The position will provide key insights for the group by extracting, analysing and reporting on qualitative and quantitative business and financial data. Activities include a variety of tasks including data research, financial analysis, financial management, business analysis to liaising with partners and consultants, report writing and supporting internal teams.
- Analyse financial and business data and prepare reports with insights, trends and recommended actions for management
- Liaise with internal teams and departments across regions to research business data and prepare reports
- Build and maintain a financial forecast model based on analysis of past performance data Work with management to develop budgets, multi-year plans and capital plans
- Prepare reports, presentations and forms for government representatives, education partners and corporate advisors
- Liaise with financial partners and accountants to support and execute finance facilities and tax returns for different entities across jurisdictions
- Manage and oversee accounts receivables, accounts payables, bookkeepers and accounts executives
- Track data to determine actual performance versus forecast data
- Conduct root cause and growth hacking analysis using data
- Assist employees with financial questions and analysis
- Analyse business processes and implement improvements
General administrative tasks such as running meetings, liaising with staff members, corporate secretarial duties, managing corporate documents and other general business administration tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage)
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or business analysis, preferably in a managerial role, and Australian accounting
- Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Proven ability to analyze large sets of qualitative and quantitative data and translate them into actionable insights
- Experience working with multi-entity or international businesses is an advantage
- Knowledge of tax compliance, financial regulations, and reporting requirements across different jurisdictions is preferred
- Experience in managing and overseeing finance teams, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bookkeeping functions
- Strong proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets (Excel), and data analysis tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information
