We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented accounting leader to oversee and strengthen our finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive accounting experience, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset for driving operational efficiency and financial integrity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's overall accounting functions, leading a large accounting team, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage daily accounting activities, ensuring smooth execution of all accounting processes from transaction recording to financial reporting.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of around 20 accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance standards.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies.
- Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting workflows, and financial procedures.
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, and other regulatory institutions.
- Provide management with financial analysis, business insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Monitor organizational cash flow and support initiatives that improve overall financial stability and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of comprehensive accounting experience covering end-to-end accounting functions.
- Proven track record in a managerial or senior leadership capacity.
- Prior experience as an Accounting Head, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management experience, particularly in handling large accounting teams.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is an advantage.
- Background in the healthcare or hospital industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
- In-depth understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, compliance, and accounting best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
