Job Description

THE 360 COMPANIES INC.

Is currently looking for a hands-on Finance & Accounting Manager to lead our Philippine accounting team while remaining an active individual contributor. This is a dual role: you will manage and develop the team, own process and controls, and personally execute core accounting, payroll, compliance, and reporting work. You will also serve as a redundancy layer across the team — capable of stepping into the duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist and other accounting roles to keep operations uninterrupted.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a lean environment, is fluent in Philippine statutory compliance, and is comfortable supporting US-based finance functions during US Pacific hours

Own and execute the month-end close process end to end, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.

  • Prepare and maintain forecasts and rolling projections.
  • Build, manage, and monitor annual and departmental budgets; analyze variances and report on performance.
  • Maintain accurate books and ensure financial records comply with applicable standards.
  • Ensure full compliance across all relevant government and statutory bodies
  • Monitor regulatory changes and maintain the company's compliance calendar.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and government agencies as needed.
  • Support US-based finance tasks and reporting requirements during US Pacific hours.
  • Coordinate with the US finance team on intercompany, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.
  • Provide backup coverage for Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment runs.
  • Serve as redundancy across accounting roles, able to step into team members core duties to ensure continuity.
  • Support Accounts Receivable functions as a backup, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
  • Create, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance, payroll, compliance, and admin functions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, controls, and efficiencies.
  • Balance managerial oversight with hands-on individual contribution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Deep, current knowledge of Philippine statutory compliance (BIR, SEC, SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, DOLE, LGU; BOI a plus).
  • Proven experience managing PH payroll and benefits.
  • Strong command of the full accounting cycle, month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Willingness and ability to work full onsite on US Pacific hours.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting a US-based or multinational company.
  • Familiarity with US accounting tasks and GAAP concepts.
  • Experience building SOPs and improving finance processes in a growing organization.
  • Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and advanced spreadsheet skills.
