Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Handle banking documentation, including the opening of new bank accounts and maintaining accurate records for all banking activities
Assist in the preparation, coordination and submission of documents related to Letters of Credit (LC's) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC's)
Prepare and process documents for Open Account (OA) registration with banks or trade partners.
Coordinate the settlement of trade and non-trade transactions, including documentation, approvals and communication with stakeholders
Support the finance team during month-end closing, audits and financial reporting by providing necessary documentation
Maintain proper filling and scanning of importation documents and all banking-related documentation in compliance with internal policies and audit requirements
Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial documents and transactions
Coordinate with internal departments, banks and external partners as needed to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or related field
Working knowledge of Accounting and banking principles
Proficient in MS Excel, and other MS Office tools.
Experience with accounting, or ERP system is a plus (e.g. Oracle)
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Atleast 1-3 years work experience in Accounting , Finance, Banking or Trade Documentation
Familiarity with bank processes, LC's, SBLC's or import/export documentation is highly preferred.
