Your Role
As a
Finance Analyst, you will:
- Manage and process massive datasets, applying advanced cleanup and organization techniques to maintain data quality and structural integrity.
- Take an active lead in monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis (budget vs. actuals), forecasting, and long-term projections.
- Set up and maintain customer pricing and subcontractor rate files to ensure 100% alignment with legal contracts and prevent billing discrepancies.
- Validate data mappings between various business systems to ensure seamless data transformation and integration across the enterprise.
- Maintain and document system look-up tables to ensure all financial configurations remain consistent and aligned with evolving business needs.
- Troubleshoot project setup errors and review/approve budget requests to ensure system data reflects accurate operational realities.
- Support internal and external audits by following strict change control procedures and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all configurations.
- Coordinate special projects and communicate high-impact processing events to Team Leads to ensure operational continuity.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Expert Excel Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to manage Big Data using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling to clean and analyze complex datasets.
- 3+ years of experience in a financial or analytical role with a heavy focus on data integrity and reporting.
- Strong System Literacy: Proficiency in navigating and managing data within ERP, CRM, or specialized finance-related platforms.
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to perform budget vs. actuals analysis and translate raw data into accurate financial forecasts.
- Communication Excellence: Ability to effectively communicate technical financial issues across departments and coordinate with Team Leads on special projects.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Prior experience with Oracle, SAP, or Salesforce is a significant advantage for managing project and pricing data.
- Direct experience in subcontractor management or contract-based pricing structures.
- Proven background in supporting financial audits and maintaining rigorous change control documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of data mapping and system integration workflows.
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills, specifically regarding the approval of project setups and budget requests.
