Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Analyst, located in Taguig. The Finance Analyst will be responsible for financial planning, preparing and analyzing financial reports, developing financial models, and evaluating key financial statements. The analyst will collaborate with internal teams to provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Financial Planning and Finance principles
  • Proven Analytical Skills with expertise in interpreting complex data
  • Experience in analyzing and preparing Financial Statements
  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly
  • Proficiency in financial modeling tools and relevant software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus
  • Relevant work experience in investment management or a related industry is highly beneficial

Primary Tasks:

  • Taking the Bookkeeper's trial balances and consolidating them into group-wide financial statements.
  • Creating complex financial models for new projects (e.g., assessing the profitability of opening a new F&B branch).
  • Analyzing variances: Why did subsidiary A spend 20% over budget on marketing (not if the spending occurred).
  • Developing and owning the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process.
  • Analyzing operational efficiency: Is our distribution model more or less efficient per unit than last quarter
  • Creating customized executive reports and presenting key insights to the Board.
  • Managing the group's overall internal control framework (preventing fraud and ensuring compliance).
