To support our efforts in developing a pipeline of renewable energy (e.g., solar, wind), infrastructure (e.g., airports), and real estate projects (e.g., resorts, hotels, integrated resorts, mixed-use developments) on our land in the Philippines, we are seeking to hire a Finance Analyst. This role will be responsible for translating technical, regulatory, and commercial complexities into clear, actionable investment decisionsparticularly through feasibility studies and pre-investment financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Analysis & Modelling:
- Build bankgrade models for renewables, infrastructure, and hospitality (feasibility models, cashflow waterfalls, debt sculpting, DSCR/LLCR, LCOE, IRR/NPV, sensitivities/scenarios).
2. Market & Commercial Workstreams:
- Analyze Philippine power market revenue paths: bilateral PPAs vs WESM exposure, tariff outlooks, curtailment risk, wheeling and interconnection considerations.
3. Regulatory, Land & Permitting:
- Own the permits & approvals roadmap across Philippine agencies (CEZA, LGU, DAR, DENR/CENRO/PENRO, DOE, NGCP, ERC).
4. Financing & Due Diligence:
- Compare JV, lease/royalty, revenueshare, BOO/BOT/PPP structures and risk allocations; propose recommended terms.
- Analyze financial statements and forecasts to evaluate revenue potential, profitability, and risks of investment projects.
- Prepare financial analysis reports tailored to management and business needs.
- Prepare feasibility reports, valuation assessments, and risk analysis for investment decisions
- Conduct due diligence and feasibility studies for proposed investment projects.
5. Reporting & Strategic Decision Support:
- Produce board/IC memos and 1page investment snapshots
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to support business planning and investment strategies.
- Participate in business forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Provide professional financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
6. Market Intelligence & Industry Tracking:
- Monitor industry data, collect information on investment projects and competitors, and conduct demand analysis.
- Consolidate and analyze findings to prepare feasibility and pre-investment financial analysis reports.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a top university in the Philippines (e.g. top 5) or overseas
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's preferred.
- At least 5-10 years in project finance/investment analysis, ideally within renewables, power, infrastructure, or real estate development.
- Proven ability to build fromscratch models for utilityscale RE (solar/wind) and to adapt to infrastructure (airports/transport/utilities) and hospitality/real estate feasibility.
- Strong knowledge of feasibility research and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with Philippine permitting & sector mechanics (or ability to learn fast).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor coordination skills; experience preparing investment memos and presenting to IC/boards.
- Advanced Excel and proficiency with PowerPoint/Word.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or MBA are advantageous
