Primary Function:
The role will help the team ensure that inventories are properly accounted for, inventory management controls are consistently complied with, and risks associated are timely assessed and managed. The post will partner with key stakeholders to attain inventory management metrics and goals.
Competency Level:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- A CPA or master's degree, or equivalent, is an advantage
- Experience in Inventory and Cost Accounting with a minimum of 2+ years of meaningful experience, preferably but not limited to the semiconductor or manufacturing industry
- Exposure in the following is preferred: SAP/S4 Hana System, Data Analysis Tools, such as but not limited to Power BI, Tableau, Qlikview
- Background in Inventory Risks and Controls, SOX requirements, Finance Audit, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience in systems implementation or integration is an advantage
- Critical thinking skills and keen on details
- Proficient in dealing with big data and able to use data analysis tools to provide reports that will help influence management's decisions.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to introduce process improvements and streamline current processes
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility in working hours to effectively collaborate with different teams across the globe

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and implement inventory cycle count controls - monitor results, report/research discrepancies
- Analyze variances and support inventory data in various business units, products, and process flows
- Perform monthly financial close and reporting.
- Drive to attain audit audit-compliant environment by implementing the right and tight controls in inventory management.
- Support internal/external audit requests related to inventory cycle count and cost accounting.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed to help drive business results.
- Ability to work independently and experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Support business set up focusing on inventory accounting, which includes, but is not limited to, pre-launch coordination with the project core team, IT, and business partners on system set up, end-to-end process, system testing, and post-deployment validation.
