Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The Supply Chain and Finance Director is responsible for driving end-to-end financial performance and supply chain excellence across the business. The role integrates financial strategy, governance, and commercial decision support with supply chain planning, logistics, procurement, and customer service operations to deliver sustainable growth, strong margins, and efficient cost-to-serve.
  • As a key business partner to the General Manager and functional leaders, the role ensures disciplined execution of business plans, robust financial controls, and a resilient, agile supply chain that supports both current operations and future growth.

Key Accountabilities

Business Performance and Strategy

  • Lead financial and operational planning processes (Annual Plan, Forecasts, IBP), ensuring alignment with business strategy and market priorities
  • Drive delivery of key business metrics including Net Sales, Gross Margin, EBIT, working capital, and cash flow
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the leadership team to support growth, profitability, and investment decisions
  • Translate commercial strategies into financially viable and operationally executable plans

Financial Management and Governance

  • Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and risk management aligned with the company standards
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, tax, treasury, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes across functions
  • Drive performance management through robust reporting, analytics, and actionable insights

Commercial Business Partnering

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, and Foodservice teams to optimize pricing, trade investments, and portfolio profitability
  • Provide financial challenge and insights on commercial initiatives including promotions, product launches, and channel strategies
  • Enable data-driven decision-making through strong analytics on margins, cost-to-serve, and return on investment

End-to-end Supply Chain Leadership

  • Lead all aspects of Supply Chain including demand and supply planning, customer service, logistics, procurement, and regulatory/FSQ
  • Ensure high service levels, optimal inventory, and efficient distribution to support customer and channel requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency, cost optimization, and service performance
  • Manage supplier and third-party logistics relationships to ensure reliability and cost competitiveness

Integrated Planning (IBP / S&OP)

  • Own and lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / S&OP process, ensuring alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
  • Drive forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and proactive risk management
  • Balance demand, supply, and financial outcomes to ensure business targets are met

Cost Management & Efficiency

  • Drive cost discipline across both supply chain and overheads, identifying savings opportunities and productivity initiatives
  • Lead gross margin improvement through cost optimization, pricing support, and operational efficiencies
  • Oversee inventory and product costing to ensure accuracy and maximize profitability

Transformation and Change Leadership

  • Lead integration initiatives, system improvements, and operating model changes aligned with the company transition
  • Drive simplification, standardization, and process improvements across Finance and Supply Chain
  • Champion a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement

Leadership and People

  • Lead and develop high-performing Finance and Supply Chain teams
  • Strengthen functional capability in analytics, planning, and operational execution
  • Through recruitment, coaching, development, performance management, talent and succession planning, build the people capability required to deliver sustainable performance

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong foundation in financial management, accounting principles, and supply chain operations is preferred
  • 12–15+ years of experience in Finance and/or Supply Chain leadership roles within FMCG/Dairy or multinational environments
  • Strong track record in financial management, business partnering, and operational delivery
  • Experience managing end-to-end supply chain functions (planning, logistics, procurement, customer service)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive performance in a matrix organization
  • Experience in integrated roles combining Finance and Supply Chain leadership
  • Exposure to regional/global operating models and transformation initiatives
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and analytics tools
