Royalties Controller

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: 11AM to 7PM Manila time

Pay range: Php 24,000 to 30,000

We are looking for a Finance Administrator – Royalties to join our Manila royalties team. The role will support the UK royalties team with a variety of administrative tasks and in managing queries and providing assistance on a day-to-day basis.

What will you do as a Finance Administrator – Royalties

As a Finance Administrator – Royalties, you'll join a dynamic Finance Operations team supporting authors, editors, and agents globally. You'll be part of a mission-driven organisation that values accuracy, service, and innovation, while contributing directly to the smooth and timely payment of royalties and upholding our high standards of author service.

You will also be expected to:

  • Manage and maintain accurate royalty and author data across financial systems
  • Process author contracts, tax records, and payments in line with compliance standards
  • Prepare and execute timely royalty payments, including advances and recurring earnings
  • Respond to author and stakeholder queries with professionalism and efficiency
  • Support royalty calculation cycles and contribute to process improvement initiatives

  • Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in handling financial data and resolving complex queries
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power BI) with strong communication skills in English
  • Familiar with financial and royalty processes, including contracts, taxation, and compliance
  • Comfortable using or learning tools like SAP, FileMaker, Jira, and Ironclad
  • Aware of key regulations such as GDPR, anti-bribery laws, and international tax rules
