Your Role

As a Finance Administrator, you will:

  • Manage the job cost process, including the opening and closing of job codes and work orders.
  • Support the month-end close process by processing journals and assisting with essential data entry tasks.
  • Generate, upload, and reconcile project hours while accurately raising financial invoices.
  • Resolve internal and external stakeholder queries via email and phone in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Review all financial and administrative work for strict compliance with established procedures and accuracy.

What You Need: Non-negotiables

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar financial or administrative role.
  • Sound computer skills, particularly with MS Office Suite (Word and advanced Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Competent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum equivalent of an Australian Year 12 education.

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • Proven exposure to processing Australian and New Zealand invoices.
  • Demonstrated experience using specialized accounting software (preferably JD Edwards / JDE).
  • Possession of an Accounting Diploma or equivalent professional certification.
  • Ability to self-manage, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven track record of being qualified by hands-on industry experience.
