Film Scene Description Specialist (AI Training)

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a strong eye for visual detail and a love of film or television. No professional filmmaking experience required — just a genuine appreciation for how stories are told on screen.

What You'll Do
- Watch short film and video clips and break each scene into structured visual beats
- Describe camera movement, framing, shot composition, blocking, and pacing with precision
- Capture mood, tone, and emotional context using purely visual language — no dialogue references
- Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality scene summaries
- Re-watch clips as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Maintain consistency and attention to detail across a high volume of scene descriptions
Who You Are
- Passionate about film, television, or visual storytelling in any form
- Able to articulate what you see on screen with clarity and specificity
- Strong structured writing skills with a natural eye for detail
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
- Methodical and consistent — you take quality seriously
- No professional film, cinematography, or AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in film studies, screenwriting, photography, or media production
- Familiarity with cinematography concepts such as shot types, lens language, or mise-en-scène
- Experience with content annotation, transcription, or structured writing workflows
