Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager, Qualitative (UK & International) to support and execute NRG's qualitative fieldwork operations across the UK and international markets. This role is a key link between our internal teams, global vendors, and fieldwork staff, ensuring smooth and compliant execution of research projects.

The Project Manager, Qualitative will play an important role in supporting UK screenings and exit polls, coordinating international qualitative projects, managing casual workforce operations and payroll, and ensuring all data handling adheres to GDPR and internal privacy standards. This position requires a proactive, organized, and culturally attuned individual with strong communication skills, a keen interest in exploring AI tools to drive efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across time zones.

Your Impact

  • Liaise with U.S. and global vendors to conduct online and in-person qualitative research, including focus groups, IDIs, ethnographies, and online communities.
  • Manage UK screenings and exit polls, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, vendors, and casual staff.
  • Oversee scheduling, onboarding, and management of casual staff, ensuring professionalism and operational excellence.
  • Ensure all vendors and staff have the materials and information needed to execute projects effectively and on time.
  • Monitor fieldwork progress, troubleshoot issues, and recommend timely solutions to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Manage and safeguard participant and project data in line with GDPR and NRG's privacy and compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate project databases, costings, and financial tracking, ensuring budget discipline and clear documentation.
  • Communicate project status and potential challenges clearly and proactively to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across UK and global teams to share knowledge, improve workflows, and strengthen cross-functional alignment.
  • Explore and apply innovative tools, including AI solutions, to streamline communication, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience Minimum 1+ year of relevant professional experience in project management, field operations, or market research. Experience in screenings, exit polls, events, or vendor management is highly desirable.
  • Education BA/BS degree preferred. Additional training or certification in research operations, marketing, or compliance is an advantage.
  • Cultural Agility Strong ability to work across markets, time zones, and cultural contexts.
  • Compliance Mindset Demonstrated understanding of GDPR and best practices for managing PII and participant data.
  • Organizational Skills Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Communication Clear and confident communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Tech and AI Aptitude Comfortable learning and experimenting with AI tools to identify efficiency gains.
  • Teamwork Collaborative, flexible, and willing to support colleagues and stakeholders across regions.
  • Preferred Candidates who have lived or studied in London, with familiarity in UK culture and working practices.
  • Passion A natural enthusiasm for film, entertainment, and global culture.

Position Type

This is a full-time, exempt position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday Saturday 5.00 pm 2:00 AM PHT, (supporting a UK Team schedule of Monday-Friday 9:00am 6:00pm GMT). Some modified schedules are possible, due to workload, project timing, and time zone changes. The location of the position will be remote.
