Based in
Manila and travelling to customer sites within the Philippines and greater Asia. The purpose of this role is to provide advisory services to customers and/or third-party contractors on existing and/or newly acquired equipment and components.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Provide technical liaison services between customers and product divisions.
- Provide hands-on mechanical service work in the field to Metso c customers.
- Perform technical evaluations and analyse equipment and machine component failures.
- Install and commission systems, machinery and associated spare parts and wear material components.
- Train and inform customers in maintenance and service of products.
- Carry out investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications and delivered condition of products.
- Record, analyse and inform concerned personnel of production quality assurance and Service Manager of status and disposition of customer complaints and claims.
- Provide field trip reports in accordance with company standards.
- Provide onsite supervision to company and customer representatives.
- Develop and implement service objectives and action plans with the Service Manager.
- Determine customer needs and achieve excellence in service.
- Manage projects from time to time ensuring that Metso Outotec quality standards and objectives are being met.
- Assist the spares and wears department in compiling parts manuals, recommended parts lists, sales presentation material and any other customer service-related queries.
- Keep fully abreast with company manuals, technical publications and bulletins.
- Ensure that company policy directives pertaining to the QA system are adhered to.
- Ensure confidentiality of proprietary company information and always operate with the highest ethical and moral standards.
- Cooperate with other departments and functions to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and always exhibited.
WHO YOU ARE:
Essential
- Must have experience in the Maintenance of Grinding Mills such as Ball and SAG Mills, Crushers such as Jaw and Cone Crushers
- Must be aggressive, assertive and confident.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as parts manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must have excellent leadership skills.
- Must be team-player and lead by setting examples.
- Degree and 3 - 7 years experience
Desirable
- Ability to work independently to complete given tasks and activities, solving daily basic technical service issues.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
