Job Summary
You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex system platforms with a strong safety focus, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company and customer standards. You will document work, support training, and communicate effectively to meet service and safety goals.
Responsibilities
- Apply a safety mindset to install, modify, repair, troubleshoot, diagnose, and verify system platform operations following AEM policies and supervisor directions
- Perform preventative maintenance according to published procedures and maintain accurate equipment performance and maintenance records
- Complete daily job documentation, including SQ checklists and calibration tools, and share knowledge with peers through pass-downs
- Submit service, status, A3 reports, and RMA tickets promptly to meet turnaround time (TAT) targets
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to AEM and customer protocols, participating in safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and training
- Adapt productively to changing priorities and support organizational and administrative duties as needed
- Communicate existing and potential customer service and safety issues to supervisors in real-time
- Provide training to customers on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Comply with on-site safety and environmental guidelines to satisfy AEM and customer requirements
- Collaborate positively and effectively with team members in close working proximity
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering, or a technical degree/related trade certification
- Knowledge of Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) and Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE) procedures
- Ability to set up and troubleshoot complex capital equipment using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and measurement devices regularly
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with strict attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize safety with minimal supervision
- Subject to random OSHA safety training, on-the-job training, drug screening, and background checks
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Safety certifications or formal safety training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of SAP and Smartsheet software
- Willingness to travel for business as required
