About the Role

Responsibilities

  • The Sales Manager reports directly to the Country Manager and is responsible for implementing strategic plans that drive maximum sales growth and profitability in the Philippine market in line with the company's vision and value
  • Supervise the activities of the third-party contractor's field force and directly employed field force.
  • Engage the field 80% of his working time.
  • The incumbent will liaise closely with Key Opinion Leaders, Distribution sources and the marketplace in general with the objective of expanding customer base
  • Contribute to the development of training and educational programs for the whole detailing team.

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, guidance and direction on agreed key performance indicators
  • Develop and maintain high level business partnership with the medical and pharmaceutical fraternity in general
  • Understand the key commercial dynamics of the marketplace
  • Provide guidance and briefings to the sales teams on marketing mix etc.
  • Communicate effectively with agencies and suppliers to ensure delivery and alignment of agreed timelines and plans
  • Formulate forecast and budgets in close cooperation with superior

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Medical Science or any related field
  • Master's degree in business administration is an advantage
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in the same role or equivalent
  • Must worked in a pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of sales and marketing including planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Familiar with enterprise software solutions and large complex organizations
  • Knowledge of the principles and techniques of financial management
  • Knowledge of official planning and management
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier-Relationship management
  • Must be strategic thinker and should have intuitive market abilities
  • Must be able to thrive in competitive and dynamic environment
  • Should be expert in negotiating
