Field Marketing Operations Specialist
What this role is about:
The role of Field Marketing Operations Specialist is to strengthen National Field Marketing execution by tracking program performance, ensuring investment governance and timely re-phasing, optimizing operational processes, and safeguarding premium items topline inventory through disciplined cadences, standard ways of working, and strong cross-functional alignment. The role also translate trade programs results of National Field Marketing into actionable insights that optimize execution, improve ROO and RO, and maximize business outcomes.
As the Field Marketing Operations Specialist in the area of Marketing Department, you will be responsible in:
Program performance tracking & analysis
- Consolidate program results from dashboards and translate into clear insights (e.g., participation, volume impact, budget utilization) with actionable recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement of reporting through enhanced dashboards and post-activity reviews, including variance analysis versus plan and prior runs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to validate data sources, align definitions, and lead a disciplined review cadence to ensure investments stay on plan and deliver intended outcomes.
Process Optimization & Governance, Operational Cascade and Enablement
- Collaborate with the Field Marketing Operations Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to redesign and streamline end-to-end processes, improving efficiency, clarity of roles, and governance.
- Develop and maintain operational guidelines, SOPs, and standardized tools (templates, trackers, cadence) to ensure consistency, audit readiness, and a single source of truth.
- Lead operational cascades and enablement (briefings, training, materials), while capturing feedback and performance insights to drive continuous process enhancements.
Premium Items Topline Inventory Management
- Regularly prompt Field Marketing Managers on expiring items, required redistribution/usage actions, and identification of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure a clear review and escalation cadence to minimize write-offs and optimize inventory utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Atleast 2-3 years experience in field marketing operations, inventory management, business reporting, or data analytics.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with dashboards and data visualization platforms is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of inventory planning, monitoring, and control principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within structured processes, maintain documentation, and uphold governance standards.
- Ability to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations that support business decision-making.
