Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The SITE- FIELD DEVELOPMENT PLANNER (FDP) plans, organizes, schedules, coordinates, controls/monitors and provides strategic direction on the overall resource management, steam/brine generation and growth plans of operating assets, or the strategic exploration & development plans of greenfield areas in local and international projects.
  • The Site-FDP promotes and implements excellence in the overall strategies and plans for the different assets, collaborates and coordinates with the different verticals (New Business & Technology, Technology Office, Transformation, Enterprise Commercial, Business Development, Corporate Strategy and Planning, Facility O&M, etc.) to ensure alignment of the strategic plans, and provides the business case and financial analysis of the options.
  • The Site-FDP also provides the Project Initiation Note (PIN) for specific projects that highlights the rationale and objectives of the projects with the corresponding business cases, presents this to ISS management, and eventually obtains the approval of the PIN/Gate 1 or 2 to ensure progress into the next stages and gates. The Site-FDP identifies, analyses, prioritizes, and recommends the different projects that will be implemented to the specific sites, in collaboration with the respective ISS Divisions and representatives of pertinent Corporate stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Geology, Chemistry, Mining Engineer, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines
  • Advanced Training on Geosciences, Reservoir Engineering, Business Development, Geothermal Resource Management, Energy Management, and related trainings preferred
  • Master's degree in the Geosciences, Reservoir Engineering and/or relevant Certificate Courses, preferred but not required.
  • With at least five (5) years of experience in reservoir management, reservoir engineering, geological, geophysical, geochemical surveys and integrated resource assessments, geothermal resource evaluation and conceptual modeling, project development and management
