Your Role
The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Officer shall be responsible for conducting the quality control review of alerts generated by the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring system and for conducting in depth AML investigations. The FCC Officer shall likewise be responsible for the preparation and submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) and Covered Transaction Reports (CTR) to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC).
Your Impact
- Level 2 review of alerts generated by the automated and manual Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring system;
- In-depth investigation of Unusual Activity Reports (UAR), referrals from regulatory and law enforcement agencies, and other ad hoc cases;
- Review of Covered Transaction Reports (CTR) submitted to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC);
- Preparation and submission of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC);
- Assistance in preparing management information (MI) and reports to the Management Committee (MANCOM), Risk Management Committee (RMC), Board of Directors (BOD), Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Committee, Group Financial Crime Compliance (GFCC);
- Managing regulatory requests and actions such as, but not limited to, Request for Information (RFI), Bank Inquiry, Special Examination, Freeze Order, (Provisional) Asset Preservation Order (PAPO/APO);
- Providing assistance during internal or external audit of the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Unit; and,
- Any other tasks related to the discharge of the FCC function that may be assigned from time to time.
Your Profile
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in AML Compliance
- Able to work within a team and with other teams
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must have above average analytical skills
- Must have knowledge on local AML/CFT regulations
- Must have a good understanding of bank products and services
- Must be responsible, resourceful and proactive
- Able to work with minimal supervision
