We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Animal Science graduate to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in day-to-day farm operations and the opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world livestock management. The successful candidate will work closely with our farm manager and veterinary support to ensure the health and productivity of our animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage animal health, nutrition, and welfare
- Supervises the overall activities of the farm - feeding, drinking, vaccination, supplementation, loading and harvest.
- Assist in implementing breeding programs and record-keeping
- Support feeding, cleaning, and handling routines
- Maintain accurate data on production and performance
- Assist with health checks, vaccinations, and treatment administration
- Monitor biosecurity protocols and hygiene standards
- Collaborate in farm improvement and research initiatives
- Provide support during audits, inspections, and certification processes
Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in farm or poultry operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science or a related field
- Basic knowledge of animal care and farm operations
- Willingness to work hands-on in a farm environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Software, Google Suite)
- Knowledge in operating a control panel is a plus but not required
