Job Summary
Facility Engineer
- Conducts regular rounds and inspections of all building equipment and facilities while on duty.
- Ensures that all equipment is in good running condition. Otherwise, implement troubleshooting activities to rectify any noted defects.
- Reports to Senior Facilities Engineer any noted defects on the equipment, incidents and action taken to rectify any noted defects.
- Implements instructions from Facilities Engineer on matters that require immediate attention.
- Operates and monitors the operation of the water distribution system, fire protection system, auxiliary systems, exhaust system, air conditioning and cooling system, lighting, etc.
- Monitors maintenance and housekeeping activities.
- Attends to tenant's concerns or requests for assistance inside the office.
- Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
- Act as Pollution Control Officer and Safety Officer.
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Coordinate work with outside contractors as to building access, adherence to safety rules, regulations, and precautions.
- Recommends projects for the development of the property.
- Performs other task as may be required.
- Spearhead every LEED re-certification and new application process for all LBL Properties.
- Advocate ideas/projects for sustainability, particularly ones that may contribute and applicable to LEED Certification for all LBL Properties.
- Conduct and document regular air quality testing, monitor and ensure results are up to standards, suggest corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure and comply all required documentation/permits for LEED re-certifications and new applications for all LBL Properties.
- Keep an organized documentation and data monitoring of Waste Disposal, Water Consumption and Electricity Consumption all LBL Properties.
- Conduct walkthroughs and inspections, initiate to attend necessary meetings, seminars and trainings to be updated and complaint in every LEED Certification for all LBL Properties.
- Conduct in-depth studies for a better understanding of LEED Certification.
- Collaborate and coordinate with Sustainability Consultant for all LEED.
- Manage end to end procurement process including coordination with contractors and vendors to ensure supplies and services are within Terms of Reference.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience as facilities engineer or in a similar role
- Experience in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Knowledge of the building process and construction principles
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Project management skills
- Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
- Basic Training Course for Pollution Control Officer
- With experience in Sustainability Program
- Amenable to work in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
