SN Aboitiz Power Group (SNAP) is hiring a FacilitiesTechnician! If you have hands-on maintenance experience and a strong background in facility upkeep, we want to hear from you.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform corrective, preventive, and condition-based maintenance on non-power components, electro-mechanical equipment, and systems (Fire Protection, HVAC/ACU, STP, Potable Water Systems, and perimeter lighting).
- Building & Structural Care: Conduct structural maintenance and repairs across plant sites, including powerhouses, warehouses, staff houses, and admin buildings.
- Surveillance & Monitoring: Perform visual inspections and weekly surveillance of dams (piezometer, seepage, crack monitoring, and bathymetric surveys), and oversee contractor activities.
- Operations Support: Manage the sewage treatment plant, assist with lifting operations (using forklifts/mobile cranes), and support safety, quality, and energy conservation programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Civil Engineering graduate (preferred) or TESDA NC II or higher in Electrical, Mechatronics, Building Construction, or a related field.
- Experience: Preferably 1 year of experience in troubleshooting/repairing electrical or electro-mechanical equipment and building construction/finishing works.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency in building maintenance (masonry, carpentry, tiling), plumbing, HVAC/R servicing, electrical troubleshooting (reading schematics, multimeters), and fabrication/welding.
- Certifications & Training: Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) required. Added heavy equipment qualifications (Forklift, Excavator, Wheel Loader NC II) are a plus.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, MS Office literacy, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
