JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the overall management and operation of the company's facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and maintenance activities. Ensures that all facility systems are safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIEs
- Manage the daily operations of the Facilities Management Department
- Oversee the maintenance of buildings, utilities, equipment, and plant infrastructure
- Ensure proper operation of electrical, HVAC, water, compressed air, fire protection, and other utility systems
- Plan and monitor preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities
- Lead facility improvement, renovation, construction, and installation projects
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, legal, and company requirements
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers
- Monitor utility consumption, maintenance costs, and departmental budget
- Implement cost-saving, energy-saving, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop the Facilities Management team
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, EHS, Quality, and other departments regarding facility-related concerns
- Prepare reports and recommend facility improvements to management
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Preferably a Licensed Engineer
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in facilities management, plant engineering, utilities, or maintenance
- At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly preferred
- Knowledge of plant utilities, building systems, maintenance, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, contractors, and facility operations
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/plant environment.
