FACILITIES ENGINEER SUPERVISOR

About the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities and IPM Oversight: Ensure all facilities management activities are completed on time based on approved plans and budgets, while overseeing the effective implementation of the IPM Plan across the entire plant.
  • Staffing and Role Allocation: Determine staffing requirements and assign personnel roles based on their respective engineering disciplines.
  • Contract Review and Change Management: Review contracts and provide technical input; participate in contract management by initiating, collecting, and consolidating variation requests and change orders.
  • Project Monitoring and Deliverables Tracking: Track engineering team deliverables against approved contracts and project plans; ensure facility management activities comply with project milestones, escalate unforeseen variations, and determine appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Engineering Document Control: Establish and maintain a document management process for the issuance, validation, and maintenance of facilities, utilities, general services, equipment lists, and other key engineering documents.
  • Interdisciplinary Coordination: Ensure effective coordination among engineering disciplines; resolve technical conflicts and guide the Facility Management Group in properly interfacing with other teams.
  • Facility Management Planning: Lead facility management planning activities by defining milestones, scope, and operational requirements.
  • Budget Review and Cost Control: Review consolidated Facility Management budgets based on departmental inputs and manage expenditures related to maintenance and repair activities.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Establish and enforce risk management standards and protocols for the department.
  • Performance Evaluation and Development: Evaluate employee behavior and performance to identify needs for training, coaching, and counseling.
  • Food Safety Communication: Inform the Immediate Superior and/or Food Safety Team of any concerns related to the Food Safety Management System.
  • Other Assigned Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Position Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline is required, and the candidate must be a licensed professional in their field; a Certificate in Project Management is an advantage.

Work Location:

Sahu-Ulan, Tanza, Cavite

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in engineering or facilities management, with a strong track record in managing detailed engineering activities.
