Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Civil Engineering.
Must be a Registered Civil Engineer.
At least 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, or as a civil engineer preferably in the power or industrial industry, with proven leadership in civil works projects or direct oversight of civil works contractors specifically in Central Luzon (CL) or in comparable regional contexts.
Budget management, compliance knowledge, vendor management, and problem-solving abilities.
Proven track record of leading and managing diverse teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Experience managing projects in renewable energy operations, including system upgrades, plant expansions, and technology integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges effectively and swiftly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Management:
Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of both generating and nongenerating assets, including buildings, administrative offices, storage facilities, and utility infrastructure. Ensure all assets are functioning properly and efficiently.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all facilities and non-generating assets, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of equipment and infrastructure.
Facility Repairs: Manage corrective maintenance processes for broken or malfunctioning assets, coordinating with internal teams or third-party contractors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Supervision of Civil Works:
Manage the planning, execution, and quality control of civil infrastructure projects, including:
Internal and access roads
Slope protection systems (e.g., retaining walls, erosion control measures)
Major drainage networks and stormwater systems.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure civil works are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Conduct regular inspections and assessments of civil structures to identify risks, maintenance needs, and improvement opportunities.
Fleet Management:
Fleet Oversight: Manage the fleet of vehicles and equipment used across multiple plant sites, including trucks, service vehicles, and specialized equipment. Ensure all vehicles are regularly maintained, insured, and comply with safety regulations.
Fleet Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling of fleet usage across plant operations, ensuring timely availability of vehicles and equipment for maintenance activities, site visits, and emergency needs.
Cost Control: Manage the costs associated with fleet management, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs. Identify opportunities for fleet optimization and cost reduction.
Administrative Functions:
Daily Operations Management: Supervise the daily operational needs of the facilities, including office operations, security, utilities (water, electricity, HVAC systems), janitorial services, and waste management.
Vendor Management: Source and manage contracts with third-party vendors for services such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and waste disposal. Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness.
Office Space & Resources: Oversee the allocation of office space, equipment, and resources to ensure a productive working environment for staff.
