About The Role
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient,safe, and continuous operation of building facilities within a PEZA-registeredBPO environment. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenanceactivities, manages building systems and critical equipment, coordinates withvendors and contractors, supports compliance requirements, and ensuresoperational readiness to meet business needs.
This jobis part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They areresponsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs onequipment and systems.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Monitor the operational status of critical equipment and support business continuity initiatives.
- Respond promptly to facility-related incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Supervise technicians and monitor technical consumables and inventory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, equipment documentation, and compliance records.
- Support financial analysis, cost monitoring, budgeting, and expense tracking for facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with PEZA requirements and assist with PEZA-related processes, including Farm-In and Farm-Out transactions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to address facility requirements and operational concerns.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering; Registered Electrical Engineer is preferred.
- Preferably with 3 years of facilities management experience in a PEZA-registered BPO environment.
- Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Experience managing technicians, service providers, and maintenance vendors.
- Familiarity with PEZA compliance and processing requirements.
- Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost monitoring.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
